”Europe Can Be More…” exhibition in European Commission's headquarters

From 25th November to 6th of December 2019 we invite you to visit the photography exhibition “Europe Can Be more…thanks to Cohesion Policy”, in Brussels at the Berlaymont (Piazza/atrium). It demonstrates that by means of diversified investments under the Cohesion Policy we can achieve cohesive and sustainable development that benefits countries and their citizens.

The photography exhibition that celebrates the 15th anniversary of 10 countries accession to the EU and shows that ”Europe Can Be More…” modern, developed, social, innovative, friendly etc. thanks to investments in our neighborhood, at local, regional and national level. We prove this by showing concrete examples of projects from Poland, the Czech Republic, Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, Hungary, Cyprus, Malta, Slovenia and Slovakia.

After the success of the ”Europe Can Be More” events during the 17th European Week of Regions and Cities, we will be present at the European Commission's headquarters in the Berlaymont building. During the events, we have shown that thanks to the Cohesion Policy funds entire Europe develops. We talk about the future of Cohesion Policy in a more vivid and tangible way, without columns with charts and spreadsheets.

The European Commission will host photographs until 15 January 2020: the exhibition at the Berlaymont-Piazza will take place from 25 November to 6 December 2019 and furthermore on 15 December, for a month selected photos from each of the country will be put up in the lifts inside the Berlaymont building.

Under “Europe Can Be more…thanks to Cohesion Policy” slogan and together with 9 states that celebrate the 15th anniversary of accession to the EU in common with Poland, Ministry of Development Funds and Regional Policy organised great events accompanying the European Week of Regions and Cities held between 7 and 10 October this year in Brussels. It was the largest promotional campaign organised as part of the European Week of Regions and Cities.

„Europe Can Be More...” action was organised not only in the BCC Square conference centre, but involved also the city park Parc du Mont des Arts, Permanent Representation of the Republic of Poland to the European Union, Permanent Representation of the Czech Republic to the EU, Permanent Representation of Malta to the EU, Permanent Representation of the Cyprus to the EU in Brussels as well as the selected offices of the Polish regions.
