Fifteen years. Is it a lot or not? There is no clear answer to this question, because every each of us feels different the passage of time. However, there are such experiences that are just as important as they were at first , after many years. One of those moments like this, is undoubtedly, Poland's accession to the European Union. We have been a member of the European Community since the 1st of May, 2004.
15 years of Poland in the European Union was above all, a time of significant changes taking place in our country. How to summarize what has changed? This will be provided by the conference inaugurating the sixth edition of the Days of Open European Funds and the celebration of the 15th anniversary of our presence in the European community.This event will be an opportunity to exchange opinions, to what extent membership has changed Poland and how Poland has influenced the European Union. We will look at the role of European Funds in the economic and social development of the country. We will outline Poland's challenges in the European community in the context of the new shape of cohesion policy.
Showing the multidimensional changes that have taken place and occur in our country can not take place without those people, who actually benefited from EU funds. Therefore, we invited both the inventors and those, who for years actively strategically planned and developed the country with the help of European Funds to participate in the conference.
All this with the participation of invited guests - representatives of the business world, social and economic partners, academia, representatives of European and national institutions and agencies.
